Congratulations to Corey & Gina, who renewed their vows with me at the Korean Friendship Bell!
I don’t get to do vow renewals too often, even though I love doing them. And this one was so sweet!
You see, Corey shared that his mother passed a few months ago and his wife, Gina, has been a huge support for him and their kids as they process this loss. So much so that they planned a trip back to his hometown to show the kids where he grew up and to deal with some final arrangements for his mother’s belongings. She even took it in stride when they spent their actual 15-year anniversary on a plane.
Corey just knew he needed to show his wife just how much he appreciated her, so he decided to surprise her with a photo shoot and surprise vow renewal. So he asked her to marry him all over again and then I walked up to do the ceremony!
(And apparently, it was a bit kismet because Corey’s Mom was also named Marie. 🥹)
So first, my little cell phone photos…
And now, the official photos...
