Glacier National Park is easily one of the most epic national parks we have with stunning forests, snow, rivers, and lakes. This Park also has more wildlife than most and with the Park not designating specific places for ceremonies, we have so much room to play! I’ve designed three Glacier National Park elopement packages to be all-inclusive and tailored to make your experience a once-in-a-lifetime memory.

Things to Know About Eloping in Glacier National Park

  • Summer (Jun – Aug) is the best time to come to Glacier National Park, but that also means that the Park is busier. This is why we ONLY do Glacier National Park elopement packages on weekdays and Sundays to avoid the crowds and give you the quiet adventure elopement you’re looking for. Plus, summers here are so pleasant, with daytime highs around 82°F (27°C) and dipping to 44°F (6°C).
  • The next best times to come are early autumn (Sep – Nov), followed by late spring (Apr – May). While the Park is open year-round, winter and early spring have lots of road and trail closures due to snow. Please note that we do not do elopements here Nov – Mar for the health and safety of all involved!
  • If you’re getting married in Glacier National Park, you will need a wedding permit. It’s only $100 and they allow us to do a ceremony almost anywhere we want! This permit is both to protect the land and yourselves from elopement-day drama.
  • This is a remote location. The closest airport is Kalispell International (FCA), approximately 30-minutes from the Park’s West Entrance and only 12 miles away from Whitefish, the nearest town.
  • Due to the fact that this is a remote location, cell signal is spotty to nonexistent in the Park. Outside the Park, WiFi is common and you’ll get signal with most carriers. I highly suggest downloading the location map on Google maps for offline use as well as bringing physical maps.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and bring layers. You can bring a backpack to have your fancy shoes in and store your hoodies while you take photos. The temperature drops dramatically at sunset (usually when we shoot until) and the weather can change suddenly.

  • Inquiry – Someone is asking about the date, but hasn’t moved forward yet so it’s still available.
  • Booking in Process – Someone has booked a consultation with me for this date, but the booking isn’t confirmed yet.
  • Booked – I only perform one marriage ceremony per day and this date is booked.
  • Sold Out – I’ve closed the calendar and am not accepting more bookings for the time period marked.
  • PLEASE NOTE: You can click on the calendar event and see where I’m booked on a specific date. This is important because I require at least a day of travel time in between events more than 150 miles apart.
