You MUST have a marriage license issued by an Oregon County Auditor BEFORE the ceremony in order for me to perform your ceremony and have it legally recognized. You must BOTH be present to have the Marriage License issued to you.
Oregon marriage license details:
- There is a 3 calendar day waiting period (meaning it’s not valid to be used until 3 days after you sign and pay for it from the Recorder);
- Valid for 60 days after the 3-day waiting period after issuance;
- The ceremony may be anywhere in the State of Oregon;
- No residency requirement;
- No blood test required;
- Must not be first cousins or nearer kin;
- If under 18 years of age, must contact Juvenile Court;
- Two witnesses are required by state law;
- Certified copies available in approximately two to six weeks;
- Certified copies may be obtained in person or online.
