We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant, planner and partner for our elopement than Marie. From our very first consultation, it was obvious how passionate, knowledgeable and intentional she is about her work. Her expertise immediately put us at ease and made us feel completely confident in the process.
Planning an elopement can easily feel overwhelming, but Marie took so much of that stress away and helped us avoid decision fatigue. She really took the time to get to know us through our calls and emails, learn our story and understand our connection. That personal touch came through in the ceremony she created for us. It felt genuine, intimate and completely unique to who we are. That was incredibly important to us and one of the main reasons we chose to elope.
Throughout the entire process, Marie made us feel supported and guided every step of the way. She truly felt like a dedicated advocate by our side. Her package recommendations were also spot-on. The photographer and videographer we chose from her curated list were wonderful and very passionate as well and the floral arrangements completely exceeded our expectations.
If you’re looking for an officiant who is warm, organized, caring and genuinely dedicated to making your day feel seamless and special, hire Marie. We’re beyond grateful she was such an important part of our day!
Marie was such a wonderful part of our wedding day! We had a very small, intimate micro-wedding that we planned in just 7 days so finding someone who was available on a Sunday and willing to work with us on such short notice meant so much to us.
Another thing that made our ceremony extra special was that Marie is bilingual. She created a beautiful Spanglish ceremony for us so both of our parents could understand and feel included in such an important moment.
She made everything feel incredibly easy and stress-free. Since neither of us had been through the marriage process before, we really appreciated having someone who knew exactly what she was doing and could guide us through everything with so much patience and kindness.
Our ceremony was short and simple, but Marie made it feel so personal and meaningful. We are truly thankful she was the person who helped us officially become husband and wife!

Marie was amazing! Our ceremony in Yosemite was straight out of a fairytale. These are memories to last a lifetime. We laughed, we cried tears of joy, this was beyond our dream wedding! Thank you Marie for giving us this experience. It was the most special day of our lives.

Marie, we can't thank you enough for helping make our dream come true. Having you taking care of our (Pedro & Gabriela) elopement cerimony in Joshua Tree made us feel safe, confident and connected to each other, to the place and, of course, to you! All the steps of the process were taken care of in such an outstanding fashion, from the initial online meetings, to planning the cerimony and vows, working with the clerk and required documents, leading to the perfect elopement day.
We appreciate you so very much for marrying us!
Marie was such a good find! She was chill yet respectful about the sacredness of our event. And her ceremony was *beautiful*. We loved our experience with Marie and feel grateful she was a part of our special day. We really appreciated her vibe.
When we started planning our wedding we knew we wanted a personalized ceremony that was inclusive, respected our personal beliefs and most importantly something that felt like us. Marie delivered that and so much more. She took the time to get to know us as a couple but also as individuals over a couple zoom calls. She sent us each a questionnaire to get to know us and our story. She then used our responses to create a heartfelt and humorously nerdy ceremony that matched our personalities perfectly. She gave us samples and suggestions on writing our own vows. Marie has such a warm and inviting personality, when we finally met her in-person on the wedding day it felt like meeting up with an old friend. I would recommend Marie to anyone who wants a wedding ceremony that’s off the beaten path, or even just different from what a standard wedding ceremony offers. Her website says “anti-boring weddings” and she truly means it.
Marie is the sweetest, most professional, and most FUN wedding officiant I could have imagined! We had no idea what we were doing, but she walked us through it step by step. She was funny and weaved everything together beautifully, and we got a ton of compliments on the ceremony after it was over. Highly recommend Marie!!!!
Marie was the perfect officiant for us. The ceremony was everything we wanted, relaxed, personal, and completely us. I loved how thoughtful the process was, especially the questionnaire beforehand, which really made us think about what we wanted and helped make the ceremony feel so meaningful and personal. We’d definitely recommend Marie to anyone who’s looking to elope!
Marie was absolutely incredible, a true professional! She got to know us over video chat and through an insightful questionnaire. We didn’t know how it was all going to tie in but she blew us away during our ceremony. Her speech was extremely emotional and personal. Our guests thought she had known us for years and were impressed with her delivery. She chronicled our love story from the beginning, highlighting key moments and capturing our essence. Marie elevated our ceremony and made it memorable for us and everyone attending. Thank you Marie!
Marie has such a beautiful way with words! We hired Marie to create a custom ceremony for us and she completely blew us away. We met with Marie a couple times during the planning process to tell her a little bit more about us and what we wanted out of our ceremony. We also each filled out a thoughtful questionnaire she provided to tell her more about what we love about each other. Using all of this information Marie put together a ceremony that had everything we wanted! Some religious and cultural elements, but the majority of the ceremony was really about us and our love story. Our friends and family kept telling us how perfect the ceremony felt and how "us" it was. Throughout the entire planning process Marie was organized, proactive, and professional. I definitely recommend Marie, she will get to know you and put together something even better than you could have imagined.
I cannot put into words how incredibly happy we were with our elopement and it was ALL thanks to Marie.
Everything was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
As my, now husband, and I were driving back to our Airbnb after the ceremony, post ceremony photos, and post ceremony celebratory dinner; I kept saying "I honestly could not have asked for a better day. Everything went smoothly; everyone was wonderful, the weather cooperated, the ceremony was perfect and the location was perfect - it was ALL so perfect."
Marie made my type A, control freak, overly anxious and worrier of all.the.things heart so calm and happy! She was the best decision we made for our elopement and she was instrumental in making our day *exactly* what we wanted.
Marie was an absolute delight to work with! We could not have asked for a better Officiant. Her cheerful disposition and enthusiastic yet calm demeanor are what sold it for us. She seemed genuine and it didn't feel like she was just trying to sell us a product. You can tell that she truly loves what she does and believes in the sanctity of marriage. She took the worry and stress off of our shoulders with her effective communication and constant updates. She even sent us a copy of our ceremony. What beautiful sentiment Marie truly is a dream! If you are looking for an Officiant, look no further! We highly recommend you book with Let's Get Married by Marie!
We honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Marie - she was one of the very best decisions we made for our elopement day. We found her through Google, and from our very first meeting, it was clear that she was experienced, professional, and genuinely passionate about what she does.
Marie took the time to truly get to know us - our story, our values, and our personalities and she wove all of that into a ceremony that felt uniquely us. It was the perfect balance of heartfelt, meaningful, joyful, and even a little humorous in just the right places.
What we loved most was how easy and reassuring Marie made the entire planning process. She guided us with such ease and grace, helped us through details we didn’t even know we needed to consider, and made sure we felt completely comfortable and confident going into the big day.
If you’re looking for someone who will make your ceremony unforgettable, Marie is the one!
Marie was an absolute dream to work with! She made sure we were both completely comfortable every step of the way. She constantly made sure to answer any questions if we had any and lifted us up on our wedding day in a way we could have never imagined. Her words - unique to each couple - are more beautiful than the fresh roses alongside us. If you are looking for someone to make your day completely about you as a couple, your story, and your personalities separately and as a couple, then she is the one for you. We cannot thank her enough for her amazing work. Plus, she sent us over a copy of our ceremony so we can cherish our day forever.
Thank you again Marie.
Marie was the perfect officiant for our same-sex wedding. We chose the “short and sweet” ceremony and she blew us away with her thoughtfulness both before the ceremony (walking us through what to expect) and during the ceremony (making us feel comfortable and supported). Marie offered things like a land acknowledgment and a reminder to turn off cell phones (things we hadn’t thought of) to ensure our ceremony was respectful and free from interruptions. Her commentary on what marriage is, the good and bad, etc., was wise, humorous and relatable. We were so happy we chose Marie and got many compliments about her work from our guests.
